How It All Began

M3LON, born Fatuga Ademola Abdul-Hafeez, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter making waves in the Afrobeats scene. Hailing from Lagos, Nigeria, M3LON's music blends African percussions, cultural heritage, and exhilarating melodies, creating a unique sound that resonates with a diverse audience. In 2023, M3LON signed with KeyQaad, an independent Nigerian record label known for nurturing talents like Omah Lay and Kaestyle. His debut EP, Ex & Os, released under KeyQaad, showcases his ability to merge nostalgic elements with contemporary Afrobeats rhythms.

Building on the success of his debut, M3LON released his sophomore EP, When Life Gives You Melons, in 2025. This project delves deeper into his personal experiences, offering listeners a glimpse into his journey through life's challenges and triumphs. The EP features tracks that highlight his lyrical prowess and musical versatility. One of the standout tracks from the EP is "London Girl," a collaboration with fellow artist Minz.
